Everything you need to know before you start.
DiviCharts is a professional dividend valuation tool that shows you if a stock is overvalued or undervalued using 20 years of historical data, multiple valuation models, and analyst consensus estimates.
We calculate an earnings-driven Fair Value P/E for each stock: the higher of 15 or the company's long-term EPS growth rate, capped at 30. That P/E is multiplied by each year's actual EPS to produce the orange Fair Value line — showing what price earnings growth alone justifies. The blue Normal P/E line uses the stock's own historical trimmed-average P/E, stripping outlier years. On top of that, our yield-based models compute fair value from historical average yield, 5-year rolling yield, and a proprietary payout-adjusted blend that penalizes unsustainable dividend growth.
